Privacy policy
- Free and Pro: your measurements never leave your browser. We can't see them.
- Buying: our payment provider handles your card. We never see or store card numbers.
- Student price: we email a code to your school address, then keep only a one-way fingerprint of it, never the address. We don't keep ID documents.
- Team and Expert: we store only the projects you choose to save, so they can sync and send reports. Reports are generated automatically; no person reviews your data.
- We don't sell or rent your data, show ads, or track you across other websites.

What we collect and why

Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run LimitLine, each limited to its job:
- Payment provider and merchant of record (Stripe; purchases through Stripe Managed Payments show as "Sold through Link") — checkout, payments, sales tax, receipts and refunds.
- Hosting (Cloudflare) — serving the site and, for Team and Expert, storing saved projects.
- Email delivery (Resend) — sends the one-time code for the Student price. Stripe sends purchase receipts.
- Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) — checks that the student form is used by a person.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We may disclose information if required by law.
Tracking and "Do Not Track"
Page-view counts come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or fingerprinting. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and we don't allow third parties to track you across other websites through LimitLine. Because we don't track you across sites, browser "Do Not Track" signals don't change how LimitLine works.
Your choices and rights
Email [email protected] to see, correct, export or delete your information, or to stop any emails. We'll answer within 30 days. If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, you also have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time (for example, for waitlist emails), and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Performing our contract with you (orders, licenses, accounts); our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure and understanding aggregate use; and your consent for waitlist and update emails.
Where data is stored
LimitLine is run from the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Saved projects are stored with an access-controlled hosting provider, and access is limited to what's needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away at [email protected] if you suspect a problem.
Children
LimitLine is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above and, if you have an account or license, email you before the change takes effect.
